Usage Advice and General Information

  • The OPP is designed to work with Ileostomy bags, Colostomy bags, and Urostomy bags that are of average size (approximately 5 inches in width).
  • The Ostomy Pouch Pocket (OPP) is designed so that your ostomy pouch will sit on the bottom of the Pocket when worn. This is so the pocket will take the weight of the pouch and transfer it to your belt or waist band.
  • The Ostomy Pouch Pocket is designed to work outside of your clothing.  This allows the ostomy pouch to work better by allowing the stoma output to flow without obstruction to the bottom of the pouch.  In addition, the ostomy pouch is easier to access for emptying  and adjusting.
